Sangwoo Son transforms fog from fleeting atmospheric phenomena into enduring design language. Working from his Seoul studio, he captures the essence of social connection through furniture that embodies the gradual clearing of uncertainty between people.
His meticulous process involves hand-dyeing Hanji papers to achieve subtle atmospheric gradients, then suspending them within carefully built resin layers. Working with daily pours that never exceed 10mm, Sangwoo builds depth over weeks, allowing each piece to develop its own character through the patient accumulation of translucent layers.

Three vessels stand like captured breaths, each holding fragments of morning between earth and sky. White and blue memories float in transparent chambers, eighteen centimeters of poetry made tangible for flowers that bloom in fog.
This trinity of vessels combines traditional Korean Hanji with contemporary resin and glass tubes, creating functional sculptures that embody Sangwoo’s exploration of connection and uncertainty. Available in white and blue variations, each piece develops its own character through his controlled process of layered pouring, designed to facilitate contemplation and gathering.
